THE MYRIAD’S VIDEO ‘A CLEAN SHOT’ MAKES OVERWHELMING IMPACT ON MTV

The Myriad Nashville, Tenn. (May 1, 2008) - KOCH Record’s Seattle-based alternative rock band, The Myriad has been receiving an enormous amount of support from MTV, including massive airplay for the current “A Clean Shot” video and upcoming appearances and features on the network.

The Myriad is currently receiving video airplay across all 3 of the MTV Network rock platforms (MTV, MTV Hits and MTV2), as well as on the Discover and Download section of the MTV website.

Last week, the band spent two days, as one of only 52 bands selected in the world, at the MTV studios in New York filming approximately 25 different ad spots for the 52/52 campaign. This promotion spotlights one artist per week in skits and short performances during the channel’s own program promotions, giving the artist approximately eleven hours of on-air commercial time during each given week. The Myriad will be the featured artist in the 52/52 campaign during street week of the band’s upcoming album With Arrows, With Poise, the week of May 12, 2008.

Currently, The Myriad is featured on the network’s Discover and Download site, which showcases up and coming new artists in the rock and rap genres and links to downloads of the artist’s songs, videos and offers pre-orders of the band’s music.

Discover and Download can be found at: http://www.mtv.com/music/discover_download/

Drawing rave reviews from fans and critics worldwide, The Myriad’s music covers a diverse panorama, evoking comparisons to The Verve, Radiohead, U2 and The Who. In it’s quick emergence, the band has already performed with Blindside, Mute Math and The Beautiful Mistake. The Myriad's first full length record, You Can't Trust a Ladder was featured as a Staff Favorite on iTunes (alongside the White Stripes and the Foo Fighters) and MTV has used some songs off the record for the Real World Denver show. Since winning the coveted 2007 “MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout”, the band’s songs are also slated for inclusion in the red-hot video game “Rock Band” published by MTV Games, distributed by Electronic Arts Partners as downloadable tracks, and available for Xbox 360 and PS3.

To feed the band’s fast growing fan base, KOCH will release the highly-anticipated sophomore release, With Arrows, With Poise nationwide on May 13, 2008. The Myriad is also currently on an April/May 08 multi-city national “Combinations” tour with Warner Bros. recording artist, Eisley. The Myriad is made up of Jeremy Edwardson, John Roger Schofield, Steven Tracy, Jonathan Young and Randy Miller.
